Sub Varsity beats River Dell, Finishes 6-1-1
The Bridgmen defeated River Dell 14-6 on Monday night to complete their season. Michael Huertas scored two more touchdowns to add to his total.
Varsity loses to River Dell
Bridgemen suffer loss to the River Dell Hawks. Senior Josh Ford scored three touchdowns in a strong effort by the Bridgemen before losing the game 47-18. Fort Lee will round out their season in a consolation game @ North Plainfield on Friday night.
Sub Varsity Suffers First Loss
After starting the season 5-0-1, the Fort Lee Subvarsity Bridgemen lost their first game to Mahwah High School. The Bridgemen were downed 35-6, despit Michael Huertas' 112 yards rushing, and sole TD.
Bridgemen lose to Mahwah
Fort Lee (2-6) loses to tough Mahwah(8-0) team 45-13. Deshawn Washington caught a TD, while Josh Ford ran one in for the Bridgmen. Josh ford rushed for over 120 yards, while Washington had 3 receptions for 43 yards.
Subvarsity Ties VS Ramsey 0-0.
Fort Lee Subvarsity Football ties Ramsey 0-0, after an exciting tough game. Both defenses played very well, Che Harris had three sacks to hold off the Ramsey offense.
Bridgmen suffer hard fought loss to Ramsey.
The Bridgmen lose to Ramsey 35-13, despite a hard fought game. Gerard Noel and Shawn Cunningham scored two rushing touchdowns.
Sub Varsity defeats Dumont 16-6
The Fort Lee Sub Varsity Bridgemen came away with their 5th straight win to improve their record to 5-0. The team was aided with a great defensive effort, and touchdown runs by Michael Huertas and Gabe Noel.
Bridgemen Lose Heartbreaker
Fort Lee lost 21-20 to Dumont High School on Friday night. After being down 14-6 at halftime, the Bridgemen fought back to take a 20-14 lead with 1:38 remaining in the game. Unfortunately, Dumont was able to score late to take back the lead 21-20. Seniors Shawn Cunningham, Desean Washington, and Gerard Noel all scored a touchdown each - and Sr. Joey Padin intercepted two Huskies passes to make his total six interceptions on the season.
Sub Varsity Improves to 4-0.
The Fort Lee Sub-Varsity football defeats Pascack Hills 28-14. The team improved to 4-0 behind the great efforts of Jason-Samuel Olagunju who rushed for 106 yards and 4 touchdowns. Michael Huertas tacked on 159 rushing yards to help move the Bridgemen offense. On defense, Fort Lee was aided by Che Harris' 3 sacks and Tolga Bilge's late interception.
Bridgemen win at Pascack Hills
The Bridgemen improved their record to 2-3 after a 13-7 defeat of the Pascack Hills Cowboys. Sr. RB Josh Ford rushed for 172 yards, while Sr. FB Sean Cunningham added 69 rushing yards of his own including a TD. With nearly 4 minutes remaining, Sr. QB Gerard Noel hit Sr. WR Joey Padin for a 45 yard TD pass to give Fort Lee the lead. Padin also had an interception on defense bringing his season total to 4. Adding to the turnovers, Cunningham recovered a fumble and made a late game interception to aid the Bridgemen to victory.
Game @ Pascack Hills Friday Night
The Fort Lee Bridgemen (1-3) will travel to Montvale Friday night to take on Pascack Hills (1-3). The Bridgemen are looking to rebound after two tough losses, with an effort to make a run at the state playoffs. The game will be played on Friday October 11, at 6:00 P.M.
Dwight Morrow defeats Bridgemen
On October 4th, the Bridgemen suffered a loss to Dwight Morrow. Despite the loss, certain players still performed well. Junior QB/FB Alex Cheon ran for 75 yards, and Senior Joey Padin had an Interception on defense as well as a 28 yard reception on offense.
Depsite the Fort Lee Bridgemen loss, the 2nd Annual Alumni night was a great success. We would like to thank all of those who showed up. Senior Dashaun Washington returned a kickoff for 84 yards, and Seniour Running Back Josh Ford carried the ball 21 times for 102 yards.
Subvarsity Wins, now 3-0!
Congratulations to the Fort Lee Sub-Varsity football team on their 14-6 victory over Westwood Regional HS. Sophomore Hunter LeCour caught two touchdown passes, and Freshman Steve Yelin tacked on two extra points to secure the victory. This win moves their record to 3-0, they will play Dwight-Morrow on Monday October 7.

Fort Lee 37 Cliffside Park 6
On Saturday, September 21st, the Bridgemen football team defeated rival Cliffside Park 37 to 6. The Bridgemen opened up the scoring early with three rushing touchdowns in the first quater. Running back Josh Ford scored on runs of 57, 6, and 40 yards respectively. QB Gerard Noel also scored on a rushing touchdown of 3 yards. Senior Safety Joey Padin scored a touchdown on an interception early in the third quarter. Adding to the scoring with defensive safety's were Sr. linemen Sal Corales an Jr. LB Amer Al Baroudi.
